2010 is past us...good thing too, because it was a stinker of a year. Here are a few new sketches to tide you over. More new comic material should start popping up weekly (as soon as my writer gets going!). Enjoy!

24 Hour Comic - Trial Run

I erroneously assumed that 24 hour comic day was this past Saturday and tried to do it. I definitely learned a lot about the needs for this undertaking and also about the issues with proper rest. I ended up drawing about 12 hours and finished 7 pencil pages...a bit rough, but they turned out rather nice, considering only about 1.25-2 hours each.

If anyone has a title suggestion, I'm definitely open. I'd like to pursue the story further down the line.

Something new...

This is a rough of a cover that I'm working on for my first full comic project...Finished pencils will be posted within a week. Fo sho!

The top portion will have the logo/pricing info and the bottom will have the tagline "He's dead, but he's not taking it lying down." There will be a background as well (mostly smoke). This is meant to be a parody of an 80's "hair" band album cover.

Pirate Club

Post-con, I've just been finishing up some artwork (the other I'll Fly Away pages should be completed and added soon) but here's a finished Pirate Club drawing I did. Pirate Club is a cool comic drawn by Utah friend, Derek Hunter. Because it's about elementary school kids, the amount of violence is shocking, but for us adults, it is a entertainingly absurd read. Check it out!
